Sports Illustrated

If you’ve ever seen a copy of Sports Illustrated, then you’ve seen Cyrus Highsmith. His Antenna, Antenna Serif, and Quiosco have long graced the cover, distinguishing the magazine from its neighbors on any newsstand. The muscular Antenna and Antenna Serif (originally called Receiver) began as experiments in tension between inside and outside contours; the editorial powerhouse Quiosco was inspired by the work of W.A. Dwiggins.
